I love fishing at Lions Pond in Rifle! When I was younger, my Grandfather and I would go there every chance we got! It's a great little lake with a variety of wildlife that frequently visit the area. The pond is located in a wetlands area - so there's lots of opportunity to see birds of prey! And the rest center is right beside the pond, so you can drop in and grab some brochures of other great hiking and fishing sites!
